About Us

Current educational systems around the world are based on the principles of mass production – they are standardized, prescribed, teacher-controlled, and students are separated by age. We need a new approach to education – one that prepares students for an unknown future.

“The current model of education is outdated. We need to rethink the way we teach and inspire young people and anticipate the skills they’ll need in the future.”
– Sir Richard Branson

New Nordic School was founded in 2017.

We at New Nordic School are transforming the educational journey through our K-12 solution. It has the renowned Finnish curriculum at its core, enhanced with best pedagogical practices from around the world to create an interdisciplinary, personalized, and locally relevant system.

We believe in taking the best of the best and providing children an education that teaches them the 21st-century skills they need, without compromising on academic outcomes. Each child is different. The New Nordic School educational system provides personalized and purpose-based learning that creates a unique learning path for each child.

“Only by changing education can our children compete with machines. We need to move away from teaching knowledge to teaching something unique that machines won’t master: soft skills such as teamwork, strategic thinking, empathy, and more.”
– Jack Ma

We live in a world where the future is unknown. Our children need a different skill set that includes critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication. Education needs to evolve.

Evidence of learning

Students learn in different ways. Our students are encouraged and supported to learn and share their learning in various ways be it, videos, art, crafts, dance, writing, etc. Their individual progress is tracked along our learning continuum, allowing students to shape their future through a deep awareness of their strengths, interests, and challenges.

AI-driven technology

Our technology platform facilitates the delivery of the Nordic Baccalaureate to ensure personalized and purpose-based learning. It coordinates the planning, teaching, learning, tracking, assessing, reporting and communication processes of schools and provides a unique insight into how children learn and how learning is continuously improved.
