An internationally experienced leader with over 20 years of diverse experience in global business and marketing, both in corporations, agencies, and start-ups. Prior to co-founding New Nordic School, Pia helped start-ups scaling and internationalizing their businesses and completed her eMBA at Hanken School of Economics. Pia has lived and worked in Germany and Finland.

Suzanne Perkowsky

Co-founder & Head of Education
A passionate educator with broad global experience in teaching and educational leadership in Finland, India, Singapore, China, US, Saudi Arabia, and the UK. A strong belief in the renowned Finnish education system has led her to teaching and leadership certifications from Finland and the UK.

Janne Jormalainen

Co-founder & Chairman of the Board
A true serial entrepreneur and angel investor. Chairman of the Finnish business angel network, Fiban. Janne has lived and worked in the USA, Europe and Southeast Asia.

Kirsi Rantalainen

Chief Operations Officer
A versatile business developer with 15 years of experience in process and operations development, marketing, account and project management in professional services and consulting industry. Kirsi has worked for several years in global and EMEIA teams.

Chief Education Officer
An energetic leader, with a clear moral purpose and vision having worked internationally for organizations such as the UK, Qatar and Finnish governments, GEMS, Taaleem, and other various education institutions. Has been highly effective in leading K-12 schools in all aspects of school improvement, professional development, teacher training, school leadership, future of learning, innovation, business development, and school start-up.

Bradley M Kremer

Brad is an educational leader who designs innovative, interdisciplinary, personalized curricula because young people who enjoy school and are engaged in mastering new skills - not just memorizing facts - are most likely to develop the habits of lifelong learners to observe, analyze, test, and evaluate solutions to the challenges they will face at work, at home, and in society. Brad has worked with schools in 10 countries across 4 continents, including more than 15 years in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Emilia Oksanen

A marketing professional with a Masters' Degree in Marketing from the Hanken School of Economics and over 3 years of experience working in different start-ups. During her 17 years abroad as an expat, she lived and studied in Indonesia, Singapore, the Philippines, New Zealand, the United States, the Netherlands, Germany, and Finland.

Director of Sales and Business Development
Seasoned strategist and business development executive with over 10 years of experience in initiating new business, setting up complete operations for regions, hiring and handling larger teams while working across different industries. Ashish has an MBA from ESADE Business School and has lived and worked in Spain, Dubai, India, and Singapore.

Gomathy Soundararaj

Educational Lead, India
An ardent educator with experience in research, collaboration, and execution of projects with teachers from India, Finland, Netherlands, Italy, Romania, and Hungary. She kickstarted her journey as a fellow with Teach for India, a part of the Teach For All network and holds a double master’s degree in English and Educational Sciences.

Deepika R Phukan

Sales and Marketing Manager, India
An executive with over 8 years of experience in the education sector. Deepika has acted as a mentor to industry professionals, postgraduates and high schoolers.
Her expertise in counseling has aided her in her role as a marketing and sales strategist for Indian, South African, and US business schools and universities.
